LOADERS are utilized in trucks to un-stack and offload freight. Trucks are usually loaded with equipment consisting of Sound gear, Lighting Truss, and Set Carts. Over 90% of all gear on these trucks have wheels and can be easily rolled from the truck  to the ramp where STAGEHANDS deliver the gear to different departments by direction from the road crew.  The number of LOADERS placed into a truck is based on (2) factors, truck length and truck pack.  (2) LOADERS are typically assigned to  any truck 26’ or under.  Additional LOADERS are typically  added to any truck if the truck cannot be safely unloaded by (2) LOADERS.  Regardless of pack there will be a minimum of 4 LOADERS for any truck 26’1" or longer.
